Capoeira Legends: Path to Freedom - Chapter 1

Q1: Why the name of the game is in english if you guys are brazilians?

Because english is the universal language of nowadays. Believe us: it’s the number one question among all the foruns and blogger critics around.

Q2: The game seems to not function well in my computer, why?

Check the game specifications and hardware/software recomendations. Maybe your machine or system are not compliant with the game. If it is, check the bug references in your game manual.

Q3: It’s possible to use a joystick/joypad with the game?

Unfortunately not. The engine we used has this limitation. In the bright side you can reset all keys to achieve your ergonomic needs.

Q4: It’s imperative to have internet access to install or play?

No. The game system just need connection to update some files during installation process.

Q5: The game graphics are sluggish. How can I fix that?

You have all possible tunning tools in the game Configurator software. Just try some profiles around till you met your machine or gpu capabilities. For older hardware we recommend the simple one, althought some visual effects become disabled, the “frame per seconds” refresh rate are powered up.

Q6: There are any cheats?

Not that we know about. But during game, you can call a help screen pressing F1 anytime you want for some help. Its not a cheat but resembles to: if you press the ALT+F4 during game it will shutdown and you can play something less thrilling, like Solitaire or OGame.

Q7: The damn enemies are cracking me up and my kicks don’t work at all! Help!

Do not forget to refill your cadence doing the “ginga” (djinga). Without cadence your moves are worthless... In the original configuration, just press the SHIFT key and Gunga Za will move from side to side in the Capoeira basic movement. During the “ginga” you can dodge enemy hits, making them pretty mad and reviewing their attacks.

Q8: The damn firing soldiers are snipping me out without a chance! FUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

Capoeira is not about brute force. Is about smartness. Use your stealth capabilities to bypass them and knock them out when close. Or run like mad to dodge the bullets. Your bet.

Q9: The damn towers don’t broke and the time is up too fast. What can I do?

Who told you it would be easy, capoeira? The answer relies in strategy. When kicking the plataform, watch out for the broke point position and for marauders near by. Try to swept the tower first, doing the ginga to refill your cadence and dodging the enemy to stay alive. Do not mess around after the sentinel saw you coming. Its his job to warn their friends about you.

Q10: How can I play with Master Vuê?

You simply don’t have the gutts. Period. But in the future, who knows how good can you be?...

Q11: How the Mandinga works?

When near defeat, you can summon your mandinga power to recharge your axé (life). But attention: the Mandinga takes time to refill and the axé do not reaches over 100%. Summon mandinga with 80% or 20% has the same results. Use it smartly.

Q12: Where are the hidden places of my friends?

You have to figure it out. They are hidden or captive for a reason.
